Privacy Policy
1. Operator and Contact
Tech in Two Uploader is operated by Laurenz Stammel, Germany. For privacy-related questions, contact networkcloud9912@gmail.com.
2. Purpose of the Application
Tech in Two Uploader is a desktop utility that connects an authorized TikTok account and uploads a deliberately selected local video file to the connected account’s TikTok inbox for manual review and publishing.
3. Data Processed
The application and website may process the following information:
- TikTok Open ID: A platform-generated identifier for the connected account.
- Profile Information: Username, display name and avatar returned by TikTok to confirm the connected account.
- OAuth Tokens: OAuth access token and refresh token used to authenticate API requests.
- Video Files: Video files deliberately selected by the user from local storage.
- Upload Identifiers: Upload IDs and processing status codes returned by TikTok.
- Diagnostic Information: Limited local diagnostic information required to report technical errors.
- Server Logs: Standard website server logs (such as IP addresses, timestamps, requested URLs and user-agent information) processed by the hosting provider to deliver and secure the website.
4. TikTok OAuth
Account authorization takes place directly on TikTok’s official website. The desktop application never receives or stores the user’s TikTok password. Upon approval, TikTok returns an authorization code, which the desktop application exchanges for access and refresh tokens. Authorization can be revoked at any time in TikTok account settings.
5. Purpose and Legal Basis
Where applicable, account authorization and upload processing are performed at the user’s request to provide the requested functionality. Processing may be based on the user’s consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where applicable, on the processing necessary to provide the requested functionality under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Limited technical information required to secure and deliver the website may be processed on the basis of legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
6. Local Storage and Data Sharing
OAuth tokens, configuration and settings are stored locally on the user’s own computer. Selected video files are transmitted directly to TikTok only when the user initiates an upload.
The operator does not operate a central backend database containing TikTok accounts, OAuth tokens or uploaded video files. Personal data is not sold or used for advertising. TikTok processes uploaded data in accordance with its own terms and privacy policy. The website hosting provider may process standard server logs strictly as necessary for security and network delivery.
7. Cookies and Tracking
This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers, marketing pixels or non-essential cookies.
8. Retention and Deletion
Locally stored information remains on the user’s device until authorization is revoked in TikTok or local application data is deleted. TikTok retains uploaded draft information according to TikTok’s own policies. Hosting logs may be retained by the hosting provider for security and operational purposes. The operator cannot delete information stored independently by TikTok.
9. User Rights
Under applicable data-protection law, including the GDPR where applicable, users have rights regarding access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection, data portability, and withdrawal of consent, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority. Because the operator operates no central user database, locally stored data remains directly under the user’s control on their device.
